“I’m not sure if it’s my personality type or that I'm an artist, but I thrive on a good challenge. When I create a piece of art, sure, the composition can be tricky, and researching details—like the correct colors, tire sizes, and option packages—presents its own demands. But, those are relatively minor hurdles. I’m talking about the big challenges: figuring out how to paint white cars in snow or transforming a single painting into a trilogy that forms one cohesive, expansive scene. For me, that had been the biggest challenge to date, one that I managed to accomplish three times. So, I ask myself: what greater complexity remains unexplored? What about capturing the entire Mopar trilogy in a single painting, but from a fresh, different perspective? Yup, that would do it!"- MICHAEL IRVINE
